Our fuel surcharge rates & changes
1. The company operates a fuel escalator based on the value of the invoice for the Transport Services exclusive
of VAT.
2. The calculation of the below is based on the monthly UK average diesel price published in the AA Fuel Price
Report at http://www.theaa.com/driving-advice/driving-costs/fuel-prices
3. The value of the fuel escalator is automatically adjusted each month as new information is published on the
AA website.
4. Should fuel prices rise above the upper limit of the table below then the same continuing formula will apply
to the calculation of the escalation rate.
5. The following matrix is used to calculate the fuel escalator.
6. Percentage in "Escalator" Column will be applied to the net invoice amount.
7. Batley Storage & Distribution Ltd reserve the right to modify the fuel escalator in line with prevailing market
conditions.

FUEL SURCHARGE UPDATES
Changes in fuel prices result in fluctuating costs for the transport industry as a whole, which is why a variable fuel surcharge which may rise, fall or be removed, in line with movements in fuel prices.
